The selfless daily workload flows according to nature's will.
Pruning is done around a coiled rod and tied with wicker, in order to keep on with our manual traditions. In the pre-flowering stage processes like early defoliation, thinning and disbudding are done. During the veraison stage, a second thinning instance takes place. Finally, after veraison leaf removal is followed by one last, corrective thinning. Branch trimming and pruning may be done periodically if it is needed. The time of harvest is decided by tasting the grapes daily and keeping up with the weather forecasts. It takes 1800 man-hours per hectare, along with daily climate uncertainty, to bear each manual harvest.
Our true home is at the vineyard, it is the heart of Los Nadies, of its history and its future. It is a most intimate place where only our closest friends are welcome.
